FAQ
Is this signature tool officially provided by UGC-NET?
No. FreeApplyTools is an independent utility. The engine follows official UGC-NET notification rules for 2026.
Why is my signature being rejected?
Signatures are often rejected if in wrong ink color (e.g., blue when black is required), on lined paper, or over 50KB. Our tool fixes the file size.
Common Admission to PhD Signature Upload Errors
"File size exceeds 50KB"
The UGC-NET portal blocks uploads above 50KB. Our compressor automatically reduces to 10–50KB.
"Signature not in blue or_black ink"
Many applicants sign in blue or pencil. UGC-NET explicitly requires blue or_black ink on plain white paper.
"Signature scanned on lined/ruled paper"
Use blank white paper. Notebook lines in the scan are a common rejection reason across government exam portals.
