Every year, thousands of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan & Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti applications are rejected due to incorrect photograph and signature formats. Follow this strict guide to ensure your registration is accepted.
1 Register on the Official Portal
All KVS-NVS applications start on the official recruitment portal. Ensure you are on the correct, government-operated website.
Visit kvsangathan.nic.in NEVER share your login credentials, OTP, or payment details with third parties. KVS-NVS will never call you asking for these.
2 Upload Photograph
Strict Photo Rules for KVS-NVS
- File size: 10KB – 100KB
- Background: white
- JPG/JPEG format only. Recent passport-size colour photograph.
- Face must be clearly visible. Morphed or blank photographs are strictly prohibited.
3 Upload Signature
Strict Signature Rules for KVS-NVS
- File size: 10KB – 50KB
- Ink color: blue or_black
- JPG/JPEG format only. Scanned signature on white paper.
- Uploading someone else's signature or a fabricated signature is treated as Unfair Means (UFM).
4 Review & Submit Application
- Double-check every field — name spelling, DOB, category, photo, and signature.
- Take a screenshot / printout of the confirmation page with your registration ID.
- Save the payment receipt PDF. Most boards send confirmation via email / SMS.
