Every year, thousands of Delhi Police (Constable / SI) applications are rejected due to incorrect photograph and signature formats. Follow this strict guide to ensure your registration is accepted.
1 Register on the Official Portal
All Delhi Police applications start on the official recruitment portal. Ensure you are on the correct, government-operated website.
Visit ssc.gov.in NEVER share your login credentials, OTP, or payment details with third parties. Delhi Police will never call you asking for these.
2 Upload Photograph
Strict Photo Rules for Delhi Police
- File size: 20KB – 50KB
- Background: light
- IMPORTANT: Delhi Police recruitment is conducted by SSC. You must complete the SSC OTR.
- Live Photo Capture is mandatory during the online application.
- For OTR Profile: Upload a scanned photo (20-50 KB) directly facing the camera without spectacles or cap.
3 Upload Signature
Strict Signature Rules for Delhi Police
- File size: 10KB – 20KB
- Ink color: blue or_black
- Signature must be strictly between 10 KB to 20 KB in JPEG/JPG format.
- Horizontal orientation only. Miniature or blurred signatures will be rejected.
4 Review & Submit Application
- Double-check every field — name spelling, DOB, category, photo, and signature.
- Take a screenshot / printout of the confirmation page with your registration ID.
- Save the payment receipt PDF. Most boards send confirmation via email / SMS.
